Happy Monday,

How are you guys?! Hope you guys are doing great and getting some physical activity - I am :). There are days where I am like "knee feel normal NOW" and then within that same day I am like my knee does really feel better and I feel happy and satisfied with my progress. Its only going to be 3 weeks as of tomorrow and it's pretty awesome how well I am doing.

Last Thursday I went to follow up with my surgeon, and he was very satisfied with my progress and my physical therapy plan I presented. He was like "you got this, I won't waste your time coming back here in 3 weeks, unless you have concerns in the following weeks then make an appointment, otherwise" he gave me a nice handshake "be smart". He gave me a note saying that I am free to resume ALL activities gradually without further damage to the knee. Now its all about how I feel, do the activity "smartly" and take note of the knee. How it reacts and such, then modify if needed. I specifically asked him about Zumba and he is like if you can do it in smart way, meaning 1 or 2 routines, then rest, and so forth then yes you could, if you feel you need your brace as a security thing sure, you can (but not necessary) BUT if you want to go full out right now, then no, just wait 2-3 more weeks. Obviously I am still in recovery and strengthening my knee and the muscles around it.

Although my activity level is not up to my standards, and I can totally feel it on the way my clothes are fitting

I do "workout" morning and evenings with my physical therapy exercises. This weekend I found 2 yoga videos that I will be incorporating this week:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cz8R20v1fUA and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdUMDuqU4S8 Last week I also purchased some mini bands from Amazon and started doing this little upper body workout https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0MW-d-4KCA - (although modified, usually on a chair not on my knees :)

I still miss my zumba so maybe later this week I can move from chair zumba to a little bit of zumbaing :) - I feel like a scientist: do and observe and feel the knee out. I am still very grateful, that I did not feel pain or a lot of achy.

I rambled on and on- I'll stop now :) Next week I will post the schedule for the month of August. Have an awesome week!
